For a valuable and stimulating day of learning, combine a guided tour with access to the Visitor Centre. The Booking Team can recommend the best combination of activities for your group depending on your topic of interest. For a specialist study, liaise with the Learning Team for advice on how we might be able help.

    Engage your class with a bespoke tour

    We offer a range of 1 hour tours led by our guides on key topics of interest. These include: 

    • The Story of New Lanark and Robert Owen
    • History: Textile Factories (Changing Britain 1760-1900 Unit)      
    • Travel & Tourism  
    • Geography (Aspects of Physical & Human Environment: Rivers, Land Use, Diversification, Tourism v Conservation)

Self-led Visits & Interesting Exhibitions!

As the class teacher, you are welcome to bring your group to the Visitor Centre and take them around yourself. Highlights that Secondary groups might enjoy include The Annie McLeod Experience Ride,  The Textile Floor, and The Millworkers' House.
