Introducing New Lanark Trust
New Lanark Trust is a Registered Scottish Charity (SC008552) which was established in 1974 with the aim of restoring and regenerating the former cotton mill village of New Lanark into a living and working community. The Trust has pioneered a radical approach to heritage management based tourism and hospitality, housing and commercial property rental and manufacture and retail.
TRUSTEES
New Lanark is governed by a board of 6 trustees from a range of professional backgrounds. The Board provides guidance to New Lanark Trust on a range of subjects including planning, finance, heritage and Health and Safety. The Trustees carry out their duties on a voluntary basis.
TRADING SUBSIDIARIES
The innovative work of the Trust’s trading subsidiaries allows us to continue to invest in the future of New Lanark.
The Trust has two wholly-owned trading subsidiaries:
