You can arrive at any point during the day, we open from 10am. Your Santa Slot and Ice Rink slot are both fixed, so please arrive in plenty of time for your booked slots.

The shuttle bus has no fixed time but runs in a continuous loop from the Visitor Attraction to the Car Park.

There is no set order for the day. You have your core experiences: The Grotto, The Ice Rink, The Christmas Ride and The Film, however you also have full access to the Visitor Experience so can visit the Rooftop Garden, machinery floor, Millworker Houses, and Robert Owen’s House. You can do these in whichever order you choose.

To help avoid queueing on the day, we are asking you to book an additional time slot for the ice rink.

The booked slot is one hour, however depending on your time of arrival, you may be in the grotto for less time. We assign your Santa visit on arrival and employ a queuing system.

The Snowman runs hourly, at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

To avoid disappointment, we advise customers to book online as there may not be availability on the day.

While we have support aides for wheelchairs on the ice, there are stairs up to the ice rink. Our staff are unable lift anyone up to the ice rink.
