Sheenagh is a public service professional with over 30 years’ experience in the civil service and local government.
Most recently, she served as Keeper of the Registers of Scotland, where she had responsibility for leading and managing Registers of Scotland and had 18 public registers under her control, including both the Sasine and Land Registers. Sheenagh previously served as Registers of Scotland’s Managing Director as Director of Policy at Historic Scotland and as Head of the Voluntary Issues Unit in the Scottish Government. Sheenagh, who is a Dundonian, has an MA(Hons) in Mediaeval History from St Andrews University and a Diploma in Housing Studies from Glasgow University. She lives in Linlithgow.
