NEW LANARK MOVING INTO LOCKDOWN AFTER 24 DECEMBER DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19
This has been a year of devastation for Scotland’s tourism and hospitality industries. The effects of COVID-19 continue to be felt across Scotland and because of the difficulty operating in restricted conditions, New Lanark will move into a full lockdown after 3pm on the 24th December.
Therefore, we will be closing the School, café, takeaway food and retail shop to visitors. This follows on from the closure of the Mill Hotel, in early November.
This move helps us to safeguard and protect as many jobs as possible and gives us the best chance for a successful reopening when favourable conditions emerge.
We would like to thank all our customers for their support and loyalty since the beginning of the pandemic. We know you all love coming to New Lanark and the team across the site would love to be here for you all. That said, we look forward to welcoming you all back in 2021 when the worst of this pandemic is behind us. In the meantime, we will continue to sell our beautiful yarn and range of gifts on our online shop at www.newlanarkspinning.com
